Our skilled attorneys possess a broad range of experience across industries that few Florida law firms can offer.
Representing Merger Candidates
Some of our efforts on behalf of our clients include:
- The merger of Autonomous Technologies Corp. (the developer of a tracker-assisted system for laser eye surgery) into Summit Technology, Inc., in a transaction valued at $224 million.
- The merger of Sawtek Inc. with TriQuint Semiconductor, Inc., in a transaction valued at $1.2 billion. Sawtek designs, develops, manufactures and markets a broad range of electronic signal processing components for use in the wireless communications industry.
GrayRobinson has designed numerous plans to assist our clients to achieve their goals efficiently and effectively, taking into account business, regulatory and tax (both federal and state) considerations. We have also assisted our clients in structuring buy-sell agreements, shareholders' agreements, and the purchase and sale of interests in companies. GrayRobinson's broad experience representing both sides of acquisitions, as well as our proven ability to draw upon our extensive backgrounds in the areas of licensing, tax, intellectual property, litigation, labor and employment, and real estate, allows us to bring a broad range of resources to bear in the structuring, due diligence, negotiation and execution phases of an M&A transaction.
