Haynes Roberts, a member of Sutherland's Real Estate Practice Group, has practiced in the real estate and creditors' rights areas since 1976 and leads Sutherland's Timber Transactional Team.
The principal areas of his practice include representing owners, investors and lenders in timber and timberland transactions of all kinds; developers in acquiring, financing, developing and operating commercial real estate projects; and institutional lenders in connection with financings secured by various kinds of commercial and industrial properties. Haynes also has significant experience representing lenders and borrowers in connection with loan workout transactions, foreclosures and bankruptcy reorganization proceedings, and representing landlords and tenants in negotiating commercial leases.
