We counsel companies on the creation or enhancement of compliance programs to help prevent regulatory and other legal violations. Our approach incorporates standards of the affected agencies, as well as general best practices found in Section 8B2.1 of the U.S. Sentencing Guidelines and other expressions of required minimum compliance elements. Our recommendations reflect the business realities of our clients and the points of intersection between their conduct and regulatory controls.
Holland & Hart attorneys have helped design compliance programs for a large range of clients, from local health care providers, Internet retailers, financial institutions, and mining companies to global defense service firms working throughout the Middle East. As part of this work, we frequently audit compliance of our clients and develop, if appropriate, strategies for disclosures and resolution for identified issues. Our work is to carefully craft disclosures that are part of a total package of remediation to address regulatory issues in a manner that minimizes legal exposure.
Additionally, Holland & Hart has developed HHCMS, a proprietary online training system for employers. Click here for details and to watch an online demonstration.
