Mr. Meyer is a member of the Firm's Intellectual Property Group. He represents a wide range of clients in the pharmaceutical, computer, fashion, and financial services industries. Mr. Meyer has extensive experience in the selection, acquisition, maintenance, and defense of trademarks, service marks, trade names, trade dress, Internet domain names, and copyrights in the United States and worldwide. This includes all business and licensing transactions related to these properties. He also focuses on the use and protection of intellectual property rights on the Internet. Mr. Meyer is the Firm's representative to the International Trademark Association and is a former officer of the Association, having been Trademark Counsel of a major multinational pharmaceutical company. Areas of Experience Additional Background Before joining Schnader, Mr. Meyer was a shareholder in a Philadelphia intellectual property law firm. In addition to his client responsibilities, he supervised the maintenance and renewal of all trademark registrations for the firm's clients. Earlier in his career, he was trademark counsel for a multinational pharmaceutical company, responsible for the company's worldwide portfolio of more than 2,000 trademarks and 20,000 trademark registrations.
