While Jason practices in the area of general civil litigation, he focuses his practice in the areas of business, contract, and real estate law and litigation. His experience ranges from counseling emerging, small, local, and mid-sized businesses in a variety of matters including contract issues, real estate matters, closely-held and minority shareholder disputes, limited liability company (LLC) and partnership disputes, document and contract drafting, negotiations, corporate and partnership structuring, and corporate compliance. As a further service to Jason's clients, his over 16 years of courtroom and trial experience provides dynamic, innovative, and compelling litigation advocacy.

Jason has represented the interests of many businesses of almost every size, individuals, insurance carriers, and other professionals on wide and varied matters. Moreover, his experience includes the defense and prosecution of complex litigations involving multi-million-dollar disputes in various jurisdictions and covering a myriad of legal claims. Jason's advocacy is coupled with a broad spectrum of legal knowledge, common sense, compassion, and objective counsel. This legal acumen is always, however, intertwined with the goal of effective dispute resolution.

Jason has tried a considerable number of cases to juries and the bench. A significant number of these cases were in federal courts throughout the country where he developed extensive federal court experience. In addition, Jason has handled hundreds of mediations and various arbitrations cementing the art of skilled negotiation. He has also taken numerous appeals to both the Indiana Court of Appeals as well as the Indiana Supreme Court.

Originally from Chicago, Illinois, Jason has over 16 years of litigation experience spanning a vast array of legal issues. He is consistently and independently recognized for both his legal ability and ethics and has earned an AV® Distinguished™ Peer Review Rating by Martindale-Hubbell® which is the highest possible rating for an attorney for both ethical standards and legal ability. Jason is also listed as one of Indiana's Top Rated Lawyers.

Prior to forming The Massaro Legal Group, Jason was a partner for ten (10) years at a law firm in Lake County, Indiana. Thereafter, Jason relocated to Indianapolis and joined a medium-sized firm downtown where, for several years, he grew his litigation practice and experience. Jason formed The Massaro Legal Group to better serve his clients through consistent client communication and aggressive and effective advocacy.
