Jason Wool's practice focuses on energy and other utility regulation at the state and federal levels, including reliability, renewable energy issues, ratemaking, and proceedings concerning the construction or transfer of generation and/or transmission facilities. Mr. Wool has specifically focused much of his career on advising ISOs and RTOs on NERC reliability compliance as well as a variety of issues before the Federal Energy Regulatory Commission (FERC).
Representative Clients
Mr. Wool has advised investor-owned utilities, renewable energy developers, Regional Transmission Organizations, Independent System Operators, electric cooperatives and government agencies on a variety of regulatory issues.
Significant Matters
Mr. Wool has dedicated much of the last two years to advising a Regional Transmission Organization on all aspects of NERC reliability compliance as well as a variety of tariff-related issues before the FERC.
