Jeffrey R. Alexander concentrates his practice on prosecuting complex securities fraud cases on behalf of institutional investors. Currently, Mr. Alexander is actively involved in prosecuting In re Bear Stearns Companies, Inc. Securities Litigation and In re Goldman Sachs Group, Inc. Securities Litigation.
Prior to joining Labaton Sucharow, Mr. Alexander began his career at Latham & Watkins LLP as an associate in the litigation practice group, focusing on antitrust, securities and employment in state and federal courts. Mr. Alexander also represented U.S. Soccer in its bid to host the 2022 FIFA World Cup.
Mr. Alexander received a J.D. from Columbia University Law School, where he was named a Harlan Fiske Stone Scholar. A graduate of Emory University, he earned a B.A. in Math and Economics with Phi Beta Kappa honors and was named among the "100 Most Influential Seniors" in the Class of 2005.
