Significant Representations
· Served as counsel to a group of Dutch pension funds that acquired control of the first publicly traded U.S. REIT.
· Represented General Electric Capital Corporation in the Global REIT of 1991.
· Responded to the RTC's Publicly Offered Multiple Investor Fund of 1992.
· Involved in the $270 million first Ex-Im Bank guarantee loan under the Oil and Gas Framework Agreement between the U.S. and Russia on behalf of Citibank in 1994.
· Sponsor counsel to a major investment fund formed by major Taiwanese and Hong Kong companies to invest in the People's Republic of China.
· Purchased and sold colleges in the United States and the United Kingdom for a Japanese client.
· Organized and legally structured a Residential Real Estate Investment Trust for ING's Dutch Pension Funds, one of the world's largest insurance financial institutions located in the Netherlands.
· Assisted a large U.S. institution that established a global real estate fund on behalf of U.S. pension funds.

Jeffry co-authored a major law treatise on real estate financing and lectured at the American Banker's Association, New York University, Johns Hopkins University and Babson College on the topics of globalization and securitization. He has also lectured abroad at the International Institute of the Real Estate Congress in Denmark, the International Pension Fund Institute in Sweden, a MIPIM Securitization Congress in France, and a securitization seminar in Argentina.
