| Additional Bio Details | I began my legal career in 1991 in the Northern Virginia office of a large Baltimore firm. The majority of my work dealt with commercial real estate transactions. Preferring a more people-oriented practice, and wanting to make a difference in the lives of real people, in 1993 I decided to start my own firm. My efforts were recognized by Washingtonian Magazine, which named me as one of the top personal injury lawyers in Washington, D.C.
Based on client referrals, my practice grew steadily for the next few years. Eventually, it grew into one that was too big to handle alone. In March of 2000, I joined forces with Eric Stravitz to create Mesirow & Stravitz, PLLC.
Having started my own practice 17 years ago with no clients, I understand the importance of developing a personal relationship with each client. Every client gets my cell phone number. Whenever a question arises, I am available to answer it. Aggressive representation, combined with this personal touch, has resulted in good outcomes and satisfied clients. That's how I successfully launched this firm. The continuation of this philosophy contributes to the success of Mesirow & Stravitz. |
