Joseph R. Fullenkamp is a partner in the South Bend, Indiana office of Barnes & Thornburg LLP. His practice covers a wide range of areas, including commercial and contractual disputes, products liability defense, insurance coverage issues, class action defense and insurance defense work. He has experience in all phases of litigation including discovery, pre-trial motions, trial work, and appellate work in the Indiana Supreme Court and the Indiana Court of Appeals.
Mr. Fullenkamp is a fellow in the Indiana Bar Foundation, a member of the Indiana State Bar Association, serves as President Elect and an officer of the St. Joseph County Bar Association. He is also the chair of the St. Joseph County Bar Association's Bench & Bar Committee and the Judicial Survey Committee. He has coached teams in the Indiana State High School Mock Trial Competition and is a past member of the board of directors for Big Brothers/Big Sisters of St. Joseph County, Inc. He served as president of Habitat for Humanity for St. Joseph County and has been active in various other civic and fund-raising activities.
Mr. Fullenkamp graduated from the University of Iowa in 1985. He received his J.D. from the University of Iowa College of Law, where he graduated with distinction in 1988. He was selected for inclusion in The Best Lawyers in America® 2010 in the field of product liability litigation.
Mr. Fullenkamp is admitted to practice in the state of Indiana and before all Indiana state and federal courts.
