Practice Focus
Ms. Horowitz concentrates her practice on brownfields redevelopment and regulatory compliance with federal and state environmental laws. With a background in geology, she counsels clients on environmental issues associated with real estate and business transactions, including ISRA compliance and soil and groundwater remediation issues. She also has extensive experience in enforcement and regulatory issues related to air pollution control and hazardous waste management, including the negotiation of complex environmental permits and RCRA closure/corrective action issues.

· Prior to joining the firm in January 2012, Ms. Horowitz was a partner in the Environmental & Brownfields practice group at Farer Fersko. She was also a partner at Barnes & Thornburg in Indianapolis, and practiced corporate and real estate law with a Philadelphia firm for several years.
· Served as Adjunct Instructor in legal Research and Writing at Seton Hall University in South Orange, NJ.
· Clerked for the Honorable Arlin M. Adams, U.S. Court of Appeals for the Third Circuit.
· Editor-in-Chief of University of Pennsylvania Law Review; member of the Order of the Coif.
· Serves on the Board of Trustees of the New Jersey Intergenerational Orchestra.
