Matthew Ritter practices in the area of public finance and municipal law. While attending the University of Connecticut School of Law, Matthew was an Editorial Board Member of the Connecticut Law Review. His experience includes a summer internship with the Honorable Judge C. Ian McLachlan.
In November of 2010, Matthew was elected to serve as State Representative for the 1st Assembly District representing parts of Hartford and Bloomfield.
In 2007, Matthew was elected to Hartford, Connecticut's Court of Common Council and received the most votes in the Hartford Municipal election.
