Matt is an associate in the Firm's Business Law department. Matt's practice includes representing a wide range of clients in private and registered equity offerings, venture capital financings, mergers, acquisitions, spin-offs and other strategic transactions, ongoing reporting and compliance with SEC and stock exchange requirements, and a variety of other corporate governance and general corporate matters. In addition, Matt has also represented clients in several debt and finance transactions.
Matt advises numerous companies, ranging in size from early-stage to large, publicly-traded companies, as well as fund and banking clients. He has experience serving as counsel to clients in a host of industries, including financial services, technology, advertising, biotechnology and pharmaceuticals.

· Multiple private placement and registered offerings of equity securities for publicly traded companies and placement agents.
· Numerous venture capital financing rounds on behalf of both issuers and investors.
· Registered exchange offer of $350 million in high-yield debt.
· Mergers, acquisitions, spin-offs and other strategic and collaborative transactions.
Before Edwards Wildman
After college and before law school, Matt spent several years working for a consulting and market research firm, specializing in analyzing the defined contribution, defined benefit and institutional trust/custody industries.
