Biography

Matthew Shindell is special counsel in the firm's Philadelphia office. He concentrates his practice in the defense of product liability matters involving consumer products and industrial equipment. Matt also defends medical malpractice claims against physicians, medical practice groups, hospitals, community clinics, and nurses. In addition, he has commercial litigation experience and recently obtained an $800,000 judgment on behalf of a large marketing company. Matt is a contributor and Co-Editor of the firm's Product Liability Playbook: Insights Into Product Liability, Risk Avoidance, and Consumer Fraud Class Actions blog.

In August of 2012 Matthew completed the American Board of Trial Advocates (ABOTA) National Trial College at Harvard Law School. He is a graduate of Widener University School of Law, where he was a member of the Moot Court Honor Society. At Widener he also performed an externship for Pennsylvania Supreme Court Justice Russell Nigro.
