Banking Law

The Banking Law practice group provides a broad spectrum of services to its banking clients, which range from national banks to smaller regional banks. Our attorneys advise on operational and compliance issues under both federal and state law. We also assist our clients in the negotiation and documentation of complex lending transactions, including loan workouts. Working with the Creditors' Rights, Litigation and Environmental Law practice groups, we advise our bank clients on the lender's potential liability, the structuring and restructuring of loan transactions and the enforcement of remedies. We also advise our banking clients on labor, employment, trust, litigation and bankruptcy issues, again in coordination with the appropriate practice groups.
