The Business Restructuring and Bankruptcy practice group has extensive experience in representing both debtors and creditors in Chapter 11 bankruptcies and out-of-court restructuring proceedings, as well as in representing creditors in proceedings under the Chapters 7, 12 and 13 of the Bankruptcy Code. Our attorneys have represented the debtor in cases involving health care facilities, multi-state cooperatives, supermarket chains, department stores, manufacturing entities and real estate investment groups. We have also represented creditors in virtually every major case filed in the Northern and Western Districts of New York. Our representation includes lenders holding pre-petition secured claims as well as those advancing post-petition credit facilities. The group’s attorneys also routinely represent developers, equipment lessors, secured lenders and vendors in bankruptcy courts throughout the United States. This includes active roles in numerous bankruptcy cases filed by retailers.
