About Attorney Awards

Municipal Law

The Municipal Law practice group serves as counsel to a number of municipal corporations, fire districts and development authorities within Jefferson and Madison Counties. The group regularly represents developers on land use and zoning matters before municipalities. We also have considerable experience on tax assessment matters for both municipal and private clients. The combined experience of the group's attorneys provides extensive knowledge in land use planning, zoning, SEQRA, environmental matters, tax assessments, special improvement districts, public bidding, public sector labor law, municipal finance and intergovernmental agreements. When necessary, we team with attorneys from our other practice groups, including Environmental Law, Litigation and Construction Law, to provide more specific legal services to our clients.
