Richard May is a corporate partner based in London. He joined the Firm as a partner in 2011. Mr. May's practice focuses on the representation of banks, investment funds, asset managers and their advisers, as well as corporations, in public and private mergers and acquisitions, joint ventures and securities offerings. He has substantial experience and expertise in financial services M&A, and has also represented clients in the defense, pharmaceutical, biotech, real estate, food, IT and publishing sectors. Prior to joining Fried Frank, Mr. May was a partner at an international law firm in London. Mr. May previously served as Legal Adviser to the UK House of Commons European Scrutiny Select Committee and to the Regulatory Reform Select Committee.
