Born in Hays, Kansas, 1969, Shon is a native of Victoria, Kansas. He attended the University of Kansas, where he earned a B.S. in 1991, and was awarded a J.D. in 1994 from the University of Kansas School of Law. Shon was admitted to the bar in Kansas in 1994.
Shon joined Arthur-Green in 1994. He is experienced in estate planning, tax, real estate, and corporate law and is a frequent speaker on those topics. He counsels clients on all aspects of personal estate and tax planning, including tax deferred exchanges. His business practice includes tax planning, corporate governance and succession planning, and non-qualified deferred compensation issues. Shon is a frequent speaker on estate planning, real estate and taxation issues. He is actively involved in many community charitable and civic organizations, and currently serves as a director on the Kansas State Newman Foundation, Big Lakes Foundation, Inc., Manhattan Chamber of Commerce Foundation, the Memorial Hospital Association, Mercy Health Community Foundation, and the United Way of Riley County.
