| Biography | Stephen "Steve" W. Rider is a member in the firm's New Orleans office. Steve is a litigator who focuses primarily on class actions and complex litigation around the nation involving many types of commercial and consumer disputes. Steve's practice areas include: consumer class actions; motor vehicle distribution, regulatory, franchise and litigation matters and protests; credit insurance sales practices and related litigation; consumer finance law and related regulatory proceedings and litigation; lender liability; insurance claims coverage disputes and related litigation; and other complex business litigation. He is a senior member of the firm's Class Action Defense law group and the firm's Motor Vehicle Distribution and Franchise law practice. Steve is nationally known for his work in the areas of consumer financial services and insurance litigation. He represents clients in litigation nationwide.
