Represented Jackson, TN based company and affiliated entities with regard to the financing, development, leasing and ultimate sale of numerous industrial properties, the combined value of such transactions being in excess of $150m; Acted in various bond counsel roles in the representation of four different West Tennessee municipalities in their issuance of bond anticipation notes, capital outlay notes and general obligation bonds; Participated in the representation of an international entertainment company with regard to its real estate holdings and expansion plans in Memphis, TN; Provided estate planning services including tax planning and the preparation of wills, general powers of attorney and durable powers of attorney for healthcare; Represented national healthcare corporation in its acquisition of numerous separately owned properties in order to further its expansion plans; Served as counsel to three of the six Tennessee communities awarded State grants under the Courthouse Square Revitalization Act of 2005, including the formation of quasi governmental I.R.C. 501(c)(3) entities to carry out the redevelopment efforts made possible by such grants; Along with a senior partner, represented the City of Memphis extensively with regard to the redevelopment of the Pyramid and Mid-South Fairgrounds.
