An experienced attorney, Aaron focuses his practice on defending companies and individuals in matters involving personal injury, premises liability, employment practices liability, professional liability, and medical malpractice. He also handles insurance coverage disputes, including litigation under commercial general liability, homeowners and property policies, professional liability and automobile liability, as well as claims for bad faith, unfair insurance practices and extra-contractual liability. In addition, Aaron has experience counseling clients on wage and hour, family and medical leave, and sick leave matters.
Aaron earned his law degree from the University of Connecticut School of Law. While in law school, he served as the assistant managing editor of the student-run, bi-annual Connecticut Journal of International Law, which features articles on international law topics. In addition, he authored a student note titled “International IP: Harmonizing the Protection of Graphical User Interfaces.” After graduating, Aaron served as a law clerk at the Connecticut Appellate Court to the following judge trial referees: the Honorable Lubbie Harper, Jr., Thomas A. Bishop and Stuart D. Bear. During his clerkship, he supported judges by drafting appellate decisions and researched civil and criminal appeals that were argued before the Appellate Court. Prior to joining WSHB, Aaron was an associate at a national coverage and litigation defense law firm.
