Abbie Steiner

A tenacious problem solver and a staunch advocate for justice, Abbie naturally found her passion in criminal defense. She constantly pursues excellence and gives each of her clients her undivided attention. Abbie understands the complexities of the criminal justice system and recognizes the importance of each and every case.

Originally from North Dakota, Abbie graduated summa cum laude with a Bachelor of Science in Criminal Justice from the University of North Dakota. She later moved to Lincoln where she earned her Juris Doctorate with distinction from the University of Nebraska College of Law. During law school, Abbie gained invaluable experience in the Criminal Clinic and in her Judicial Externship for the Honorable Judge Gerrard. She also externed in the United States District Court of Nebraska. Abbie served as an Executive Editor for the Nebraska Law Review and the Executive President for the Student Bar Association.

Abbie prepared for her future as criminal defense attorney by successfully completing the College of Law’s Concentrated Study for Criminal Litigation. She received the Schmid Honor Law Scholarship which rewards students who demonstrate excellence in academia, leadership, and community involvement during law school. And, by invitation of the dean, Abbie continues to serve as a member of the Dean’s Advisory Board, which evaluates and provides advice concerning the general business of the College of Law.
