Adam Clinton Brown

Adam C Brown, Esq. is a practicing associate attorney at the Freeman Law Center, located in Journal Square, Jersey City, New Jersey.

His primary concentration is litigation, specializing in the area of family law. His background in corporate and individual taxation, and experience clerking in the Family-Part of the Superior Court of New Jersey provides him with a unique perspective to counsel across all aspects of family law.

Mr. Brown has represented clients at trial, in meditations and arbitration, and at post-judgment modification and enforcement hearings. His experience also encompasses civil litigation, with a particular focus on civil rights discrimination, contract disputes, and estate issues.

Mr. Brown recently completed a Fellowship with the Rutgers Law Associates, where he spent a year providing legal services to low-to-moderate income people. Part of the Fellowship involved work with the Newark Community Street Team (“NCST”). NCST is an organization meant to assist ex-criminal offenders with legal issues to help decrease recidivism, and unite grassroots based organizations to improve economic development in the South Ward of Newark.
