Adam Donald Staier

ttorney Adam Staier has spent the last seven years practicing criminal defense law throughout upstate New York and the Capital Region. He began his legal career through internships in civil law, indigent legal representation and federal energy law regulation. Finding a passion in criminal law, Mr. Staier held internships handling both prosecution and defense representation. Mr. Staier interned for a year in the Schenectady County District Attorney’s Office in 2010-2011 in the appeals unit and in local courts prosecuting misdemeanor and petty offenses. During his last year in law school Mr. Staier had an internship with a private law firm in Saratoga County, who hired Mr. Staier as an Associate following his graduation and passage of the Bar in 2012. For the first four years of admittance to the Bar, Mr. Staier practiced criminal defense, personal injury, and civil litigation along with family and divorce law. Since then Mr. Staier has narrowed his focus and dedicated his career primarily to the practice of criminal defense law. Mr. Staier has defended individuals in a wide range of offenses ranging from non-criminal petty violations and traffic offenses to felony attempted murder and rape charges.
