Biography

Adam J. Bruno takes part in all aspects of intellectual property law, including patents, trademarks and copyrights, with a focus on the preparation and prosecution of U.S. patent applications and client counseling for both foreign and domestic clients. Mr. Bruno is a registered patent attorney with a wide range of experience in matters before the United States Patent and Trademark Office, including drafting and prosecution of patents, conducting Examiner interviews and filing appeals with the Board of Patent Appeals and Interferences. Mr. Bruno's practice further includes management of patent prosecution portfolios ranging from foreign corporations to small-sized clients. Additionally, Mr. Bruno advises clients on all aspects of enforcement of their patent portfolio, along with providing litigation and technical support for patent infringement matters. He also has experience in all areas of intellectual property licensing. Prior to joining Bay State IP, LLC Mr. Bruno worked for a boutique Intellectual Property law firm in Boston, MA assisting in the management of the firm's US and Foreign patent and trademark prosecution docket. Mr. Bruno is admitted to practice in the Commonwealth of Massachusetts, the U.S. District Court for the District of Massachusetts and the U.S. Patent and Trademark Office. Furthermore, Mr. Bruno belongs to a variety of associations, including the Boston IP American Inn of Court, the Boston Patent Law Association, the American Intellectual Property Law Association, the American Bar Association (Section on Intellectual Property) and the Phi Delta Phi Legal Fraternity. Mr. Bruno possesses a technical background in Molecular and Cellular Biology receiving a bachelor's degree from Vanderbilt University and a master's degree from Tufts University along with his Juris Doctor from Suffolk University Law School.
