Adam S. Hecht

ADAM S. HECHT is a native of Palm Beach County. Mr. Hecht graduated from the Alexander W. Dreyfoos, Jr. School of the Arts, where he majored in communications and was a nationally-ranked debater. He received both his undergraduate and law degrees from the University of Florida, earning high honors and a 3.97 grade point average as an undergraduate. He was also a member of Florida Blue Key, the University Scholars Program, and an active member of the Law School Mentoring Project.

Prior to graduating law school, Mr. Hecht was selected as an intern in the Washington D.C. office of United States Senator Bill Nelson as well as worked for Florida Supreme Court Chief Justice Barbara Pariente in Tallahassee. While in law school, Mr. Hecht was a judicial extern at the 8th Judicial Circuit, providing legal counsel to indigent clients.

Mr. Hecht began his legal career with the Palm Beach County State Attorney’s Office. As an Assistant State Attorney, Mr. Hecht served as a felony prosecutor and chief county court prosecutor where he prosecuted a range of crimes from drug trafficking to murder. He tried more than 75 felony and misdemeanor jury trials.

Mr. Hecht is licensed to practice law in all jurisdictions in the State of Florida and has been admitted to the United States District Court for the Southern District of Florida. He is a member of the Florida Bar, the Florida Justice Association, the Palm Beach County Bar Association, and the Palm Beach County Justice Association.

As an attorney with Searcy Denney, Mr. Hecht represents victims of catastrophic personal injury involving medical malpractice, motor vehicle accidents, and premises, professional, and products liability.
