Adeline M. Sulentich

Adeline M. Sulentich: Attorney with Hogan Omidi, PC

Biography

Adeline is a Partner at Hogan Omidi, PC, and as a Denver family law attorney, licensed in both Colorado and Illinois, she practices exclusively in family law. Adeline counsels her clients on numerous aspects of divorce and child-related proceedings, including parenting time and decision-making responsibilities, child support, spousal support, property division, grandparent visitation rights, and adoption proceedings, among other things.

While Adeline appreciates the need for litigation in some matters, she realizes that families often benefit greatly from settlement and promotes alternative dispute resolution processes, such as mediation and arbitration. Adeline helps her clients focus on the big picture while customizing her approach to every client’s individual needs, as there is no “one size fits all” for families. Regardless of the approach, Adeline is a fierce advocate for her clients inside and outside of the court room.

Aside from her litigation work as a divorce attorney in Denver, Adeline does work as a parent coordinator and decision-maker (PCDM), represents the best interests of children (CLR), and conducts child and family investigations (CFI).

Adeline’s legal acumen was recognized by the University of Illinois-Chicago, John Marshall School of Law, where she graduated cum laude with a certificate in Trial Advocacy.

During law school, Adeline gained invaluable family law experience as a judicial extern with the Honorable Regina Scannicchio in the Cook County Domestic Relations Division. Adeline’s experience working directly with a domestic relations judge provided her unique insight into how to prepare for and present a family law case. She later became a law clerk at one of Chicago’s premiere family law firms, serving clients in complex divorce and family law matters.

Adeline’s passion for family law and child welfare began even prior to law school, when she worked with Court Appointed Special Advocates (CASA) at the Harmony House, supervising court-ordered visits between children and non-custodial adults in their lives. Working at Harmony House provided Adeline with a unique skill-set that she has incorporated into her family law practice. Adeline’s work is also deeply influenced by her own experience as a child of high-conflict divorce; her compassion and insight in this regard is highly valuable to her clients.

Adeline is a Colorado native who graduated from Colorado State University before attending law school in Chicago. Outside of practicing family law, Adeline spends her free time with her family, outside playing pickleball or volleyball, reading, walking her dog, hiking, doing water sports, and much more.
