Biography

Adriana Valdez is a senior associate attorney at WSHB's Sonoma County office. She focuses her practice on civil litigation, including construction defect and complex torts and casualties.

Ms. Valdez offers a distinctive and strategic advantage to our firm's clients, having transitioned from a plaintiff-side law firm to our defense practice. Her experience advocating for plaintiffs has provided her with an in-depth understanding of the tactics and strategies employed by the opposing side. This insight enables her to anticipate and effectively counteract plaintiff arguments, offering a proactive and informed approach to defense cases. Adriana's background allows her to bring a nuanced perspective to case strategy, helping to identify potential vulnerabilities, and enhances our firm’s ability to navigate complex cases with precision and adaptability, ultimately contributing to more effective and successful defense outcomes.

Adriana earned her J.D. from the University of San Francisco School of Law, where she excelled both academically and in leadership roles. As a staff member of the Law Review and a board member of the Student Immigration Law Association, she developed strong research, writing, and leadership abilities. Her academic excellence was recognized with a place on the Dean’s List and a CALI Award in Civil Procedure. Adriana earned her undergraduate degree in Peace and Conflict Studies at the University of California, Berkeley.
