Biography

Aeri "Jess" Hwang is an Associate in the firm's Miami office, where she handles a broad spectrum of legal matters, including construction disputes, complex commercial litigation, and general civil litigation.

Originally from Seoul, South Korea, Ms. Hwang relocated to the United States in 2009. She earned both her bachelor's degree in Politics, graduating cum laude, and her master's degree in Politics with a concentration in Political Economy from New York University.

She went on to receive her J.D. from the University of Miami School of Law. During law school, Ms. Hwang served as Senior Notes and Comments Editor for the University of Miami International and Comparative Law Review, where she guided and supported junior editors in developing their legal research and writing for publication.

Fluent in Korean, Ms. Hwang is well-equipped to serve clients from a variety of linguistic and cultural backgrounds.
