A quick handshake

You are a big music buff. What is your favorite type of music?

I love classic rock from the late 60s through the 70s-honestly any type of music that isn't too overdubbed. I still like to listen to complete albums on LPs. In concert, I've seen the likes of Lindsey Buckingham (4 times), Bob Dylan, the Eagles, and even Jimmy Buffett.

What inspired you to become a lawyer?

I grew up in my family's small grocery store, so I have a knack for the service industry. As a lawyer, I get to carry on many of those same skills helping clients in the Roanoke Valley and all across the state I love.

You like to be outdoors. Tell us about your favorite outdoor activities.

I like to get outside for a run several times a week, and I have also hiked parts of the Appalachian Trail and nearby mountains. Having grown up in a county with 37 miles of the New River, I enjoy a good kayak trip!
