Biography

Aimee Martuccio Whitsell is an attorney at Parnall Law Firm. She grew up in Western Pennsylvania in a large Italian family alongside her four sisters. Her father continued the paving company started by her grandfather after immigrating to the United States, and he managed to put all of his daughters through college.

Aimee graduated cum laude from Westminster College in 2001 with a double major in Philosophy and History. Since childhood, she has been fascinated by the history of the "Old West," particularly Billy the Kid. This interest led her to move to New Mexico in 2001 to attend law school. During her time in law school, Aimee served as an officer for the Veteran's Association, completed an internship with the Second Judicial District Attorney's Office, and worked in the Southwest Indian Law Clinic.

After graduating from law school in 2004, Aimee began her career as a Children's Court prosecutor for the Thirteenth Judicial District Attorney, where she gained valuable trial experience, including serving as lead chair in jury trials for high-profile felonies.

In 2008, Aimee shifted her focus to civil law, specifically medical malpractice defense. She worked for a large national medical malpractice insurance company while practicing in this area. However, in 2017, she changed her path and started representing individuals who have been injured due to negligence. With her background in defense, insurance representation, and now as a plaintiff advocate, Aimee uses her unique insights and skills to level the playing field for individuals fighting against big corporations and insurance companies. She can anticipate the strategies, arguments, and tactics used by opposing counsel due to her diverse experience.

Aimee finds her greatest joy and motivation in her family. She considers Parnall Law to be her second home and takes pride in the values, compassion, and skills that the firm possesses to help the community. Aimee believes that all her clients' cases, regardless of their size, are important. While the injury or trauma cannot be undone, she strives to help her clients regain their footing and obtain a sense of justice. Aimee sees helping clients obtain just compensation as the best and only form of justice when they have been harmed by another's negligence.

Aimee Martuccio Whitsell is a member of the New Mexico Bar Association, the Federal Bar Association, and the New Mexico Trial Lawyers Association.
