Biography

He is partner of Preciado Abogados (formerly Alberto Preciado y Asociados) since 1981.

He is an attorney-at-law with more than 40 years of professional practice with emphasis in commercial, administrative and family law. He has participated in Boards of Directors of several sectors, namely within the aeronautical, beverages, tourism, finances, entertaining and subsidy banks sectors, among other. Professor of administrative and corporate law of the Administration and Jurisprudence School at Universidad del Rosario. In the latest years he has acted as amicable compounder in several decisions within the infrastructure sector, in the Bogotá Chamber of Commerce. He conducted his judiciary practice as attorney of the Superintendence of Companies. (1979-1980) and subsequently he was Head of the Insurance Legal Division of the Banking Superintendence (1980-1981).
