Alen Takhsh

Alen Takhsh, the Founder and Principal Attorney at Takhsh Law P.C., established the firm in 2011 with a core principle: providing compassionate legal counsel to individuals facing both straightforward and complex immigration issues.

With a deep commitment to understanding his clients' aspirations, Alen works tirelessly to help them achieve their dreams of legally living, studying, and working in the United States. Having personally experienced the trials and tribulations of the immigration process as someone who immigrated to the U.S. over three decades ago, Alen possesses an acutely unique and intimate understanding of the challenges his clients face. He never loses sight of the human element in each case, recognizing the significance of the outcomes at stake. Alen, whose family hails from Assyrian and Armenian backgrounds, immigrated to the U.S. from Iran and went on to obtain his B.A. in Economics from The University of Chicago (2002) and his J.D. from The UIC John Marshall Law School (2007).

Beyond his legal practice, Alen actively serves on the boards of esteemed organizations such as Heartland Alliance, the National Immigrant Justice Center, and the Skokie Community Foundation. In his leisure time, he cherishes moments spent with his family and his beloved dogs, Rumi and Piper. Alen also takes on marathons and triathlons, showcasing his dedication and passion in various aspects of life.
