Alex B. Rabin was born and raised in the Springfield, Illinois area, graduating from Glenwood High School and earning his Bachelors of Science degree from the University of Illinois at Springfield and law degree from Valparaiso University School of Law. During law school, Alex clerked for an Indiana state court judge, and also served as an extern for the federal court in Hammond, Indiana. He joined the firm as an associate in 2008 and quickly rose to partner in 2012.
Alex concentrates his practice in personal injury, workers compensation, municipal law, real estate, business and civil litigation. He also represents several municipalities and businesses throughout central Illinois. Alex frequently appears before the state circuit courts, the Illinois Workers Compensation Commission, and regulatory authorities.
Alex has been recognized as a Leading Lawyer and is an Emeritus Member and Past Chairman of the Board of Governors at the Shriners Hospital for Children in Saint Louis, Missouri. He was selected by the Springfield Business Journal as one of their 40 under 40 leaders to watch in 2014. Alex has been appointed to serve as the Commodore of the Board of Directors for the Island Bay Yacht Club and the State of Illinois Supreme Court Committee on Character and Fitness for terms beginning in 2024.
