Alex Cornejo

Alexandros H. Cornejo is a standout at Cornejo & Cornejo, LLP, not just for his legal skill, but because he truly understands the immigrant experience firsthand. Born in Lima, Peru, and now a distinguished Peruvian-American attorney, Alex has built a practice that spans from New York to Georgia and even back to his birthplace in Peru. He’s become a go-to professional for the media, often appearing on TV to discuss complex issues like deportation defense and family reunification. One of his proudest moments was in 2021 when he successfully secured the release of over 120 Latino immigrants from federal detention. Alex is authorized to handle immigration cases in all 50 states and is fluent in English, Spanish, and Portuguese, which allows him to connect deeply with a diverse client base. After graduating with honors from Atlanta’s John Marshall Law School, he’s remained dedicated to helping those who might otherwise be overlooked by the system.
