Alexandra "Alex"
Ginsburg, a native of Charleston, is a dedicated attorney with a
passion for serving her community. After completing high school, she
achieved magna cum laude honors at Sewanee: The University of the
South, where she earned a degree in Psychology while actively
participating in basketball and softball. Pursuing her legal
education, Alex attended the University of Tennessee College of Law,
where she excelled and received numerous accolades, including the
prestigious CALI award for Excellence in Trial Practice, Prosecution
Externship, Law & Psychiatry, Images of the Law, and Interviewing
& Counseling.
Following
the attainment of her Juris Doctorate, Alex embarked on her legal
career at the Ninth Circuit Solicitors Office, where she honed her
skills as an Assistant Solicitor. She gained invaluable experience in
all aspects of criminal law, from interviewing witnesses and
assessing case files to attending hearings, negotiating pleas, and
conducting trials. Throughout her tenure, Alex successfully tried
multiple cases before juries, demonstrating her
unwavering commitment to justice and her dedication to the Charleston
community.
Expanding
her legal expertise, Alex ventured into defense litigation, focusing
on professional liability matters at a reputable law firm in
Charleston. Her representation of medical providers provided her with
comprehensive knowledge of medical issues, which later became
instrumental as she transitioned to handling workers' compensation
cases at an insurance defense firm.
Now,
at Miller, Dawson, Sigal & Ward, Alex brings her unique skill set
to effectively analyze and manage personal injury and workers'
compensation cases. With her extensive litigation experience and
unwavering advocacy, she takes great pride in providing dedicated
representation and consistently strives to exceed client
expectations.
Outside
of her professional endeavors, Alex cherishes time spent with her
family and beloved pets. She actively engages in coaching basketball
and wholeheartedly supports her children in their sporting endeavors.
