Alex Pia

Alex B. Pia is a nationally recognized attorney at Belkin Burden Goldman, where he focuses his practice on real estate, construction, and complex landlord-tenant disputes. He represents a broad client base including developers, contractors, property owners, management companies, brokers, condominium and co-op boards, commercial tenants, and high-net-worth individuals. He is known for handling significant real estate matters, including construction access agreements, commercial lease disputes, and title litigation.Approved under New York’s Part 36 for fiduciary appointments, Mr. Pia is frequently appointed as counsel to receivers in distressed property and foreclosure matters. He also brings experience in appellate litigation, having contributed to matters before New York’s appellate divisions and the Court of Appeals.

While at Brooklyn Law School, Mr. Pia served as an editor of the Brooklyn Law Review, interned for the Hon. Katherine Levine, and was a Sparer Fellow with Brooklyn Defenders.
