Biography

Alexander is an associate in the firm’s anti-fraud and extra contractual litigation, commercial litigation, construction, insurance, and products liability practice groups.

Before entering private practice, Alexander served as a judicial law clerk in both the Second Judicial District of Minnesota and the First Judicial District of Colorado. In those roles, he supported judges on a broad range of civil, criminal, and family law matters-an experience that sharpened his litigation instincts and deepened his understanding of courtroom strategy and procedure.

Prior to joining the firm, Alexander handled a broad range of multi-state estate planning and probate matters-including contested estate litigation, will and trust disputes, fiduciary challenges, and guardianship issues. His work in this area gave him extensive experience guiding individuals and families through emotionally charged legal conflicts and sensitive long-term planning.

Alexander is a Certified Information Privacy Professional (CIPP/US), a credential that reflects his detailed knowledge of U.S. data privacy laws, including the CCPA, GDPR, and evolving state regulations. While his current practice is rooted in insurance law, he has also advised on privacy compliance issues and remains closely engaged with the legal challenges posed by emerging technologies, from artificial intelligence to data security and digital risk management.

Clients appreciate Alexander’s clear communication, sharp analysis, and calm, strategic approach to complex legal problems. Whether addressing a dispute or helping businesses prepare for future risks, he aims to be a steady and trusted legal partner.

Outside the office, Alexander trains in Brazilian jiu-jitsu, volunteers as a chess coach for It’s Our Neighborhood, volunteers at the Children’s Law Center of Minnesota, and enjoys doing improv comedy. He is a graduate of the Second City Training Center in Chicago and brings creativity, focus, and agility to every aspect of his work. A proud Chicagoan, he would gladly sacrifice almost anything for DAA BEARS-except a client deadline.

If you’re facing a legal dispute-or navigating the uncertainties of data, technology, or insurance-Alexander is ready to help you move forward with confidence.
