Biography

Since arriving in the United States from the Soviet Union in 1989, Alexander Paykin has built a wide-ranging professional life that blends law, business, and innovation. He owns and manages Paykin Law, a client-focused practice concentrating on real estate and commercial matters, where he handles everything from complex transactions to hard-fought disputes. His work also extends beyond traditional legal services. He operates a consultancy that helps law firms and other professionals with technology and finance strategy, and he is active in real estate through a brokerage and a holding company. These experiences shape the way he advises clients, with an emphasis on efficiency, clear communication, and results. Mr. Paykin is a strong believer in giving back to the legal community, serving on numerous ABA committees and boards and taking on significant responsibilities within NYSBA, including leadership in technology-related initiatives and civic engagement efforts. He is a frequent CLE presenter and a published author on subjects ranging from business governance to artificial intelligence in legal practice. Outside of work, he supports his community through nonprofit leadership focused on domestic violence services, veterans’ needs, and local charitable causes
