Biography

Alexandra M. Lopes joined HPM&B in 2021 as an associate. She has represented hospitals, physicians, medical health professionals and institutions in the New York Metropolitan area in complex medical professional litigation since 2016. Alexandra participates in all stages of pre-trial litigation including discovery, legal research, motion practice, investigation, and suit evaluation.

During law school, Alexandra assisted elderly members of the community to establish long term health care options. She guided a startup not-for-profit clinic with local and state compliance as a member of the Health Law & Policy Clinic. She also participated in the Senior Citizen law Project at Nassau/Suffolk Law Services and the Veteran’s Legal Assistance Program, assisting individuals with healthcare and real estate planning.
