Biography

Alexia Nyiri is an attorney with the Morgan & Morgan Business Trial Group, where she focuses on complex commercial litigation, including contract disputes, business torts, professional malpractice, and construction defect litigation.

Before joining Morgan & Morgan’s Business Trial Group, Alexia practiced at a boutique defense firm, where she handled international disputes, business torts, and administrative and criminal matters. Her early career also includes experience at a criminal defense firm handling capital felony cases.

A Tampa, Florida native, Alexia graduated cum laude with a degree in political science and Spanish from the University of Florida, where she also interned with the in-house counsel of a financial services consulting firm. She went on to earn her law degree with Honors from Stetson University College of Law. During law school, Alexia focused on international law, spending a semester at The Hague to study at the International Criminal Court and the International Court of Justice. She was an active member of the Alternative Dispute Resolution Board, participating in domestic and international arbitration competitions.

Alexia is a proud member of both the Hispanic Bar Association and the St. Pete Bar Association.
