Biography

Alexis Erick Gomez is an Associate in the firm's Miami office. His practice primarily focuses in the areas of insurance defense litigation, products liability, commercial litigation, and premises liability.

Mr. Gomez graduated from Northwestern University in Evanston, IL earning a bachelor's degree in both English Literature and Psychology. Thereafter, Mr. Gomez received his Juris Doctor from the University of Miami School of Law. During his time at the University of Miami, Mr. Gomez participated in the school's litigation skills program where he was awarded the Ervin Gonzalez Memorial Scholarship. This scholarship, established in memory of Ervin A. Gonzalez, a class of 1985 alum, recognizes an outstanding student in the Litigation Skills Program. Additionally, Mr. Gomez was part of the executive board for the Asian and Pacific American Law Students Association.

Before joining the firm, Mr. Gomez clerked at a premier litigation boutique in Coral Gables, FL, where he gained experience in complex commercial litigation and developed a strong foundation in trial advocacy.

When not practicing law, Mr. Gomez coaches for Miami Premier Soccer.
