Biography

Alissa Katz is a general liability defense attorney with experience in construction site accidents, motor vehicle accidents and other general premises liability matters. Alissa aggressively pursues risk transfer throughout all stages of the litigation, with the goal of mitigating and ultimately eliminating potential exposure to her clients.

Alissa focuses her practice in the defense of high exposure New York Labor Law claims and defending property owners, developers, general contractors and trade contractors. Alissa also handles a variety of premises liability cases on behalf of property owners and tenants.

Alissa practices open and honest communication with both clients and adversaries alike. Alissa strives to take a proactive posture to advocacy and is able to anticipate and respond effectively in all aspects of litigation, whether it be a telephone call or motion.
