Biography

Allen is an Associate in the Health Law department at O'Connell and Aronowitz where he represents a diverse range of health care providers in areas including Medicaid and Medicare compliance, regulatory matters, and Article 78 proceedings. Before joining the firm Allen gained valuable experience as an Associate at regional law firms, where he handled complex commercial litigation, general liability, constitutional law, and professional malpractice cases.

Allen earned his undergraduate degree from the State University of New York at Oneonta and his law degree from Hofstra Law School. During law school, he interned and was later selected for the Clinical Prosecution Practicum program under a Student Practice Order at the Nassau County District Attorney’s office prosecuting misdemeanor cases as a student practitioner.
