Biography

Allison Muth is a lifelong Chicagoland resident and an experienced criminal defense attorney who serves as the firm’s License Reinstatement Attorney, focusing on helping drivers regain their driving privileges after suspension or revocation. Allison has helped nearly hundreds of people get their driver’s licenses back, achieving a success rate exceeding 90% in Secretary of State reinstatement hearings.

Born and raised in Western Springs, Illinois, Allison has lived throughout the western suburbs and several Chicago neighborhoods, including River North, Lakeshore East, and Fulton Market. She graduated from Lyons Township High School before attending the University of Colorado–Boulder. She later earned her Bachelor’s Degree in Psychology, with a minor in Legal Studies, from Roosevelt University in Chicago.

Allison’s legal career began immediately after college when she enrolled in Roosevelt University’s post-baccalaureate Paralegal Studies program. During this time, she interned at Holstein Law Offices, a Chicago-based complex civil litigation firm, and went on to work there full-time as a paralegal for three years, gaining substantial hands-on legal experience.

In 2010, Allison attended Valparaiso University School of Law full-time. During her second year, she interned with the Cook County Public Defender’s Office and began her criminal defense career as a 711 law clerk at the Bridgeview Courthouse, where she practiced under supervision and earned a scholarship for her outstanding work.

Throughout college and law school, Allison also worked in the hospitality industry at the Michelin-starred restaurant Vie in Western Springs. She credits this experience with developing the client-first mindset, communication skills, and work ethic that now define her legal practice.

After earning her law degree, Allison founded The Law Office of Allison K. Muth, focusing on criminal defense and Secretary of State driver’s license reinstatement cases. She was mentored by some of Chicago’s most respected criminal defense and license reinstatement attorneys, refining a meticulous, preparation-driven approach to reinstatement hearings. In 2015, she acquired Justice Law Group, LLC and merged it with her practice. Today, Allison concentrates her practice on helping drivers navigate the complex reinstatement process and put themselves in the strongest possible position to win their hearing and get back on the road. Her depth of experience, proven track record, and relentless attention to detail make her a powerful advocate for clients seeking a second chance at their driving privileges.
