Alonzo McAlpine Alston, Esq., a native of Savannah, GA, is a
dedicated attorney driven by faith, family, and a commitment to client service.
Influenced by his entrepreneurial parents who were deeply engaged in the civil
rights movement, Alonzo inherited a legacy of advocacy and empowerment. His
mother, the first Black woman pediatrician in Savannah, marched with Dr. Martin
Luther King, Jr., and his father played significant roles in the Student
Non-Violent Coordinating Committee and the Republican Party of Georgia. These
influences fostered Alonzo's focus on social equality, community building, and
entrepreneurship. Alonzo became an attorney to educate others on the importance
of strong agreements and to advocate for those on the "wrong end of a bad
deal." Entrepreneurship has always been integral to his life, starting
with a lemonade stand and growing to founding Movement Productions, LLC. He
also founded McAlpine PLLC to provide exceptional legal counsel in entertainment
and business law. Alonzo holds a B.A. in Communications Studies with a minor in
African-American Studies from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill
and is a graduate of Charlotte School of Law, licensed to practice in North
Carolina.
