Biography

Alyssa A. Vanstone, founder of Vanstone Law Firm, is dedicated to advocating for homeowners facing foreclosure. Before establishing her firm, Alyssa gained extensive experience in private practice, handling family law and civil litigation matters, including mortgage foreclosure defense and real property disputes. Her legal career began as an Assistant State Attorney for the Sixth Judicial Circuit, where she honed her trial and negotiation skills as a criminal prosecutor and lead trial attorney for Child Welfare Legal Services, representing the Department of Children and Families. Originally from the Minneapolis-St. Paul area, Alyssa graduated with honors from Hamline University with a B.A. in History and Anthropology. She relocated to Florida in 1999, earning her J.D. with honors from Stetson University College of Law in 2002 and joining the Florida Bar in 2003. Alyssa also holds an M.A. in Library and Information Science from the University of South Florida. She is committed to providing a compassionate and informative approach, helping clients navigate the complex and stressful legal processes involved in foreclosure, ensuring their rights are protected and options are clearly understood.
