In law school, Alyssa was a member of the Law Review, the Admiralty Moot Court Team, and the Honors Program, and was the recipient of the 2021 William J. Coffey Excellence in Maritime Writing Prize and the 2021 Marine Affairs Achievement Award. Following law school, Alyssa served as a judicial law clerk for the Connecticut Appellate Court and then the Rhode Island Supreme Court.
