Biography

Alyssa R. Anderson joined HPM&B as an associate in 2024. At HPM&B, Alyssa represents insurance companies in the defense of negligence matters involving elevator accidents, slip/trip and falls, and premises liability. She also represents healthcare professionals in medical malpractice matters.

Alyssa is involved in all aspects of pre-trial litigation, with a particular focus in case development, legal and medical research, fact investigation, discovery management, motion support, and representation of clients for court appearances and conferences. She drafts dispositive motions including those for summary judgment and assists in appellate brief preparation.

Prior to joining HPM&B, Alyssa worked at a Landlord-Tenant law firm in New York City where she represented property managers and building owners in housing court throughout all five boroughs.

During law school, Alyssa served as the Public Relations Editor for the Vermont Journal of Environmental Law and was a member of the Women’s Law Society.
